Terms & Conditions
Consumers: Nothing in these conditions affects the statutory rights of the consumer.
I. Our prices charged for goods will be those advertised on our web site at time of order.
II. Cakebases.co.uk reserve the right to withdraw any items in the range without prior notice.
III. Cakebases.co.uk reserve the right to alter prices when necessary. Consumers will be notified at time of order if any prices are different than they expect through a previous enquiry.
IV. Our cake bases are perishable goods and may not be returned. Do not accept your parcel from the carrier if it is damaged in any way, if the packaging is undamaged but the contents are, take a digital photograph of the packaging and the damaged contents and email it to us.
V. Order shortages or discrepancies must be reported to us within 3 days of receipt of goods.
VI. No claims will be accepted unless original Cakebases.co.uk invoice number is quoted.
VII Cakebases.co.uk reserve the right to make part deliveries but will endeavour to complete the order within working 7 days. If we are not able to meet our 7 day delivery schedule, we will contact you immediately to arrange an alternative date or a refund.
VIII. Cakebases.co.uk reserve the right to pass on all costs of redirected cheques and legal action implemented to recover debt.
IX. All prices quoted include VAT at current rates where applicable.
X. Export orders are subject to different terms and conditions, please ask for an email copy.
XI. Delivery dates as quoted or stated are estimated dates only. Cakebases.co.uk cannot be responsible for delays whatever the cause, which are outside our control.
Remittance Terms
No goods are dispatched until full payment has been received.
Returns Policy
The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000
Regulation 13 of the above order does not allow the customer the right to cancel the supply of goods made to the consumer's specifications and / or which are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly, (perishable goods).
Refunds Policy
If the goods arrive damaged inside undamaged exterior wrapping a new item will be supplied.
